Mail compacting snag

Hi every time I close Win Mail the ""Windows can Compact etc" notice
appears,I agree , in a few seconds message "windows mail has stopped" and a
few secs later " windows is restarting" and it does. have checked, compacting
is select for every 100,
This started happening about 6 months ago ,but stopped after a short while.
As I say, it happens every tome I close WM

Try setting the compaction check count higher for now, only to stop it
happening while you do the following.

Get WMUtil from http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/Default.aspx

Read the instructions.

Run WMUtil with WM closed, this might correct any corruption to the message
store?

If it succeeds in compacting the database etc reset the check count to 100.
