LPManager?

Anyone know what "LPManager" is or why it might "hang" (the program
needs shutting down" popup window) when I go to shut down my XP system?
 
if the exe file is LPMGR.EXE then most likely it is part of ThinkVantage
Productivity Center Manager (an IBM product possibly installed on IBM
ThinkPad laptops). If you don't use this program you can remove it.
 
Thank you kindly. You're right, it is part of the IBM stuff. Trouble
is, I have yet to find out exactly what this program does. Guess I'll
ask the IBM (Lenovo) guys.
