lost video files.

I accidently, clicked to clear videos on my video recorder, while movie maker
was open. It deleted all the video I had saved in movie maker as well.
I tried system restore, but of course that was a couple of hours later,so it
didn't restore them.
This was a movie of my grand daughters horse show and I want to know how I
can retrieve them.
Is there any way? Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DON NOT record anything on your cam, or save any files on the pc, in fact if
you can help it, do nothing on the pc until we have tried to solve the
problem.

make and model of camcorder?

System restore only changes the system it does not return any deleted files.

It's an Aiptek HD mini cam. A-HD+1080 v5vp
Has 256mb memory- up to 32 GB external memory-interface USB2.0
Designed fro playback using windows media player 10&11
That's all I can tell you about it,I left my manual In Oregon while on
vacation and it hasn't beensent back to me yet..

Here's the manual
http://www.goaiptek.com/manuals/manual-ahd1080p.pdf

It records to an sd card, you could could try downloading, on a friends pc a
trial copy of recovery software designed to work with sd cards and see if it
can recover the deleted files. You could then try ruinning it on your pc as
well.
