Lost software

My laptop "blue screened" so i had to load the recovery
disk.
I now have my opporating system back (XP) but have lost
all the pre installed software. (Word, Excell, anti virus
scanner etc)
Is there any way to retreive these packages (since they
were regersted under my name on instalation) or is the
only option to buy the software packs again?

You should have the CDs with the original applications.
Check your manual and/or contact the manufacturer.
