lost old accounts and emails/folders

I tried to add a new email account and entered the server name incorrectly.
This (I guess) wiped out all the existing accounts and the associated
folders for each. I corrected the server name and got everyone added back
in, but I don't know how to get my old folders and emails back.

You need to ask this in a newsgroup related to whatever email software you
were using (Outlook? Outlook Express?)
