Lost my 'Advanced' Recording Controls

I had a third party mixer controls program installed (came with my soundcard)
and once I uninstalled it I've 'advanced' volume controls (such as mic boost,
etc). I can't seem to get them back....any ideas???

From menu:, select: Options > Advanced Controls
 
That's the problem, I can't! It's greyed out...it wasn't before...but now it
is.
