running Win XP PRO SP1. When I explore "My Computer" with windows
explorer, I have lost the icons that were next to the items in the
"Folders view"(the one on the left hand side). All I have now is the
list of items such as desktop, my documents, c drive, d drive, etc...,
with no icons beside them. I have tried system restore and XP repair,
but its still the same. What else can I do?
Another abnormality in Windows Explorer is when I do a right click on an
item in the folder side, it takes like ten seconds to bring up the menu
options of a right click. It seems like something has happened to the
folders part of windows explorer, but what?
All this just started last night, for no apparent reason. Anyone have
any suggestions?
