Lost all Sound

I switched my computer on and no system sound at all. I put a dvd in and no
sound.
I plugged in 'known to be working headphones" and ... no sound.
I went through the computer troubleshoot and everything is working.
I reinstalled the c-media wave driver and ... no sound.

Any ideas?

Just a shot...this happened to me just earlier today....I could not get sound
on any apps, well apparantly someone in my family hit "mute" on my
multimedia keyboard and disabled sound, see if that may be your problem. Good
Luck.
