Lost ActiveX Controls

All of a sudden, I was getting over 20 pop-ups during some
session on my computer. I've downloaded a pop up stopper
butI think I've stop "Active X Controls". All my pop-ups
were from internet explorer. I've tried to see if I could
call it back but it is not on the list... Now I want to
download Active X Controls...don't seem to be able to...
help! I know I need it beacause I'm trying to go to the
game pages and it tells me I'm missing Active X for
security purposes... it won't let me open it... Thank You.
