Hello, All!
Earlier I was using "Norton Anti Virus 2004" and right now "AntiVir" Free
version 7. "AntiVir" is using minimum total 21500kb of memory. Wish to buy
another Anti Virus software which uses less resources.

With best regards, Brock.

All I have ever used is AVG Free version and it has detected and removed all
viruses so far.

Avast! is another free antivirus program that is highly recommended.

Every serious antivirus software use many resources.
Buy more ram.

Some use quite a bit more than others. Norton Anti Virus is a know resource
hog. AVG is probably one of the better ones out there and there is a free
version.
That being said, 384MB of RAM is low these days. I wouldn't recommend
anything less than 512MB but at least 1GB is best!

LOL, That shows Norton at 100% and nobody else. Thing immediately brings
this into question! I have on *many* occasions had AVG find things that
Norton did not find.
