I use grisoft free antivirus on one machine and avg " Free " antivirus on the
other and both of them are low resource users and both are free to home users
and they update just about as much as all the other antivirus manufactures.

AVG is made by Grisoft so essentially they are the same antivirus program. I
myself have a registered version of AVG and I think its the best out there.
It doesn't hog as much resourses as McAfee and Norton do.

Stops virus nicely too, seems to catch more of them then the other two do.

Why buy when there are very good free alternatives?

AVG and avast! are very good, and both are better with resources than
Symancrap's NAV.

ZoneLabs makes a program called ZoneAlarm.

This program has an extremely large amount of features, all of which make
for a more secure computer, while not hogging resources.

It's virus/spyware/adware/malware protection is excellent

the website is http://www.zonelabs.com

So where are all the Symancrapphants now? I guess the previous post of
mine doesn't fall neatly into the place their delusions have led them.

Hey LameGirl and your buttbuddies. Symantec Sucks! So choke on it!

Really? Do you know the situation where a bunch of Symancrapphants are
ignoring answering peoples posts to only respond to my opinions of
Symancrap?
Just my .02

And still overpriced!

Whatever man. I'm going to ignore your trolling ways, it'd be way to easy to
trash you, and i don't really want to do that on a reputable forum.

Where's the ignore button? ...

I doubt you'd find it easy at all, since I have a very tough skin, and
I'm much better at making fun of myself than most anyone else I've ever
met.

Do you lack the self-control to need to use technology to ignore my
posts?
