Logout immediately after login

Hi,

Win XP SP1 all updates.

For some reason my PC has started acting strangly. When I try and
login (tried safe mode & administrator) it starts loading my settings
and then proceeds to saving settings and going back to to the login
screen. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this.

hi

problem maybe with a registry key,
you may need to get ahold esd commander or windows pe or try editing the key in the recovery console

need to go to following locatio
hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogo

need to look for userinit ke
and make sure you have the following line in
C:\Windows\System32\userinit.exe, (need to make sure you add comma!

this might be why it's booting out after logging in
