Can't logon immediately after Clean Install

Hello,

I just did a clean install of Windows XP on my aunt's PC. I started it and
walked away and came back the next day. During the install it never asked
me to create a user account, so now that the install has completed it's
booting up to the login screen with Guest as the only account and asks for a
password. I've tried using "guest", "password" as the password and even
leaving it blank. None of those options work.

So I booted up into Safe mode and tried to login as administrator, but it
won't let me do that either. Again, I've tried, "administrator" and leaving
it blank, but still I can't get logged in.

How can I resolve this so that I can login?

Thanks,

Jeff

I know that I restarted and was at the logon screen next. Could it be that
it crashed during the install? I've never had that problem before. Hmmm.
But I know I've read of someone else that had a similar problem, but I don't
know what the resolution was.
