login screen - unread mail

I'm running XP Pro SP3. The login screen shows no only how many
programs are running but also the number of unread mail. Is it
possible to configure XP so it won't show the number of unread
mail? Thanks.

Download TweakUI, one of the MS powertoys, from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

In TweakUi select LogOn, Unread Mail.
