User Account Icons

When starting up my laptop, Windows XP arrives at a User Account page, where
the relevant accounts are shown for the user to pick which he/she wishes to
utilise. Alongside the user account icon name(s), there is now also a message
of how many unread mail there is for the relevant account. My question is,
how is that "unread mail" message disabled when viewing the screen?

Download TweakUI from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

Open TweakUI (it's in Start -> Programs -> Powertoys for Windows XP).

To disable unread mail notification:
Click "Logon" > Unread mail > uncheck ""Show unread mail on Welcome Screen"

To reset the unread mails count:
Select "Repair" > Repair Unread Mail Count and click "Repair Now"
