E-mail notifications for another user.

My friend keeps getting e-mail notifications for another individual who used
her computer to check her hotmail account. Now, it shows the other
individual's e-mail address and the number of unread e-mails under my
friend's user/Account name on the welcome screen. Can she get rid of this
message AND then set her account so that it notifies her of her own unread
e-mails even if they are not MSN or Hotmail accounts? How does she do this?

Control Panel> User Accounts (User accounts again if using Category view):
Select her user account. On next screen select "Manage my network
passwords" from the left hand column. Delete the friend's account from the
list that appears. Click Close.
