Login Logoff Problem

[Login Problem]

I have a pc that i cant log into. At the logon screen i type in the password
goes as far as to show the desktop bakground (no icons) and logs me back out
to the log on screen as if i logged off (gives me saving settings message).
tried to log on from safe mode under reg. admin account but same scenerio any
suggestion would really help. thanks in advance for replies.

I have exactly the same problem, have you solved the problem or anyone else
has the solution please let us know....
