login issue

hey all,

when i login to my work domain everything seems fine. however, when i login
from home my login gets stuck on the windows splash screen and the status
displays "applying computer settings..." and this takes about a minute and a
half before it finally logs me in. it never used to do this several weeks
ago. how do i trouble shoot this. i still login at work just fine, it just
happens when i'm outside domain.

This is a problem for some laptop we have as well. Has anyone got any idea's
