I was cleaning spyware and old unused programs of my daughters W2K Profession
system and now when I boot up it wants a login and password to get W2K
started. This was never needed before and I am frustrated that after 3 hours
of cleanup the system is keeping me out. What makes matters worse is that
its doubtful that I can get the W2K disc as my ex-wife managed the install
thru work and we never got an original CD.

Am I SOL or is there a way to get into the W2K o/s somehow? Thanks

Of course there is a way,

You can download this disk, follow the instructions and you can reset the
password.
