logging onto windows

i have a laptop that i use at my work via network. i just
recently connected my desktop and laptop to a router at
home and i did something to the laptop that changed the
way i log on to windows 2000 (laptop). it no longer shows
my work domain but still requires me to typ a password and
my usual one doesn't work any more. any ideas?

You will have to bring back the laptop to the network and ask your system
administrator to rejoin it for you. You shouldn't have changed the
networksettings on your laptop.
