I'm not an IT pro. I bought an old machine from work that they were getting
rid of. It has MS Windows 2000 as the OS. I don't know what happened, but
now it appears that the Windows password has been corrupted or changed and I
can't get into my system. What can I do?

Simply log in using the built-in Administrator account and reset
the password on the account you use, or create another account for
your daily use.
