Location of .ost file

Hi,

I've got Outlook 2003 and Exchange Server 5.5 and have configured to Use
Cached Exchange Mode within Outlook.
I did a search for the .ost file and couldn't locate it. Would you please
tell me the complete path to the file.

Usually C:\Documents and settings\(user)\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft Outlook. You have to search for Hidden/System files to find
it. One thing to note, Exchange Server 5.5 does NOT support Unicode, so,
regardless of how you the Cached Exchange Mode setting configured, you have
a conventional ,OST file that has the 1.82 Gb size limit. Kind of a shame,
we run a 5.5 server here also and I'd love to run Outlook 2003 on my tablet
in cached mode.

Thank you much Hal, with your help I found it.

Hal, if the Exchange Server 5.5 crashes temporarily or even permanently and
has to be reinstalled, is there any good documentation out there regarding
the re-connectivity of Outlook and Exchange regarding the .ost file?
