Point huge OST file to new Exchange server

How do you migrate an OST file pointing to Exchange server 1 to Exchange
server 2? I know that OST files are just cache files and are freshly
generated by Outlook if they are not present. However, if the cache size
configuration goes in GBs and a whole bunch of machines are going to be moved
over to another Exchange server, the network would take a hit if all the
machines start downloading from Exchange server 2 at once.

Is there any easy way to point the existing OST file of the users to the new
Exchange server so as to prevent the fresh download?
