local Printer

I have a client who uses windows xp pro. They have the latest version of
the remote desktop terminal server program. They use it to run an
application on a 2000 server. The problem I am running into is that on one
of their machines, when I click the checkbox that should bring the local
printer across, it doesn't work. The printer is not in the list of
available printers. This works on all the other xp machines. I even loaded
the printer drivers on the server to see if that would work. It didn't.
The printer is a HP Deskjet 940C. Does anyone know if there is something I
am missing? Shouldn't it just work if I check the printer checkbox?

I had the same challenge with this printer. I followed
the instruction on this KB article:

My ntprint.inf file modification looked like this:

"hp deskjet 940c" = "hp deskjet 940c series"
