Can anyone out there help me please? I've recently
purchased a new computer and while the comp runs great,
I'm having terrific problems with the LA Connection.
Quite frequently it will kick off and the icon will come
up in the bot rt corner w/ a comp and a red x. It will
say Local Area Connection: Cable unplugged. I then have
to go into Network Connections and disable the Local Area
Connection, then enable it again. It will then reconnect
and everything will be fine ... for a while. Sometimes
it's 10-20 minutes, sometimes it's 2 seconds and it
happens again.

I've return the comp and got a new motherboard &
powersupply. I've installed XP SP2. I've done
Winsockfix. I've got a new modem. I've tried new
cables. I've purchased a router. And I still can't get
it to work.

The time I really notice problems is when I try to d/l
stuff. Invariably, it will kick me off half way thru the
d/l.
