Hi there! I've encountered a problem with my router. Here's my story:
I have a Linksys rout connected to the "main" desktop comp thru cable and two laps via wifi

Few days ago I've fried my system hdd (Vista) on the main, so I tried to plug in an old system drive with XP installed on it.
It loaded up fine, but then I noticed there's no connection of any kind in Network Connections (and it should have Local Area Connection #1 or something like that) only 1394 "connection" that i think doesn't count.
(also when I tried to repair that 1394 one it said "TCP/IP is not enabled")

When I tried to establish a connection using the router it said it should already be there, working and configured properly.
The router is plugged correctly of course.
The laps are both connected and it still works for them

I've searched the webz for a solution and found numerous threads but none of the answers really helped if there were any.

I wd be grateful for any help :(
