loading windows

just built a new computer and loading windows and got it loaded but now after
restarting it...it tells drive fail and needs boot disk...i have tried to fix
MBR and that doesnt work and I have reinstalled windows and that doesnt
work...could it be my HD?

If you are getting drive failure messages, yes that would be a large clue.
Ensure that you have the correct cabling installed properly, that jumpers
are set properly and that power cables are properly attached.

Ensure that the drive is detected in the BIOS.

yes dee whats the jumper set at and is it a new hd or your old one and what
kind is it? some boards don't supoort some hd's {:/
