Little IE glitch

Hello. My new PC is running XP Home with IE 6SP1. Road Runner is
my ISP.

This doesn't happen very often, but sometimes IE will simply not
load any more web pages. It tries, but nothing happens. I have my TIF
limit set to 124MB, so I know it hasn't reached the size limit. However, if
I close out IE, then re-launch it, that usually gets things back on track.
Why would it be necessary to do that? What might cause the freeze up? Does
this happen to
most IE users?

Limit your cache to 40 - 50 MB.

Is that really necessary when my computer has a 80GB hard drive?
