linux is copying vista, so get vista for free :-)

It just isn't ready app-compat wise.. I could never use it in my
Office until apps like AutoCAD work either natively or Wine.
Virtualization is not necessarily the answer.

Only someone like Frank who can't install Ubuntu would make up lies like
that. Ubuntu is MUCH more user friendly than Vista is.

Yeah, right. User friendly like a bear trap....

Let's see, what exactly did you have problems with? Care to elaborate or
pull a Frank and respond with more bluster? I know for sure you didn't
have WGA raise its ugly head and tell you your OS was pirated and forced
to call India or Morocco to get it activated. I am also sure that file
transfers from one partition to another or from an external HD to an
internal drive wasn't nearly as slow as Vista. I am convinced that you
didn't have to buy a high end computer to run it either.

So, wise guy, what is more user friendly in Vista than Ubuntu? The
price? LOL!

You're the group's liar, Frank. This is obvious. Care to address the
issues raised or can you only bluster about with more of your lies?

Once again, when faced with not being able to address the issues, old

Whoopie. The pictures sure are nice. Maybe in 10 years Linux will have the
functionality that Vista has now (minus the BSOD's, security, and other
screw ups).

Just another wanna be OS. Just the geeks and tech-heads will be interested.
This won't be but a blip on Microsoft's radar.

Keep reporting all those cool stories about Linux/Ubuntu. In 5-10 years,
the Linux camp will grow another 1/2 of 1 percent !!!!

Allright, I'm bored so I'll bite.

Please explain in detail what functionality Vista has that Linux doesn't.

And I do mean, functionality not "It won't play my windows-only game".

You don't have a real life do you? Sitting in your cell all alone...you
want me to be your friend don't you? You want me to recognize you as a

Well...I don't think that's gonna happen.
But keep trying!

So you want a side by side road test is that correct?
