Linksys Hub & Ntl cable moden

Hi every one. ive got a NTL cable modem & a linksys hub. Im trying to link 2
pc's (mine & another) together with the function of internet sharing. no
matter what i do, i can seem to surf on both pc's at the same time.... Ive
sent a few days now trying to get them up & running.. please help..

If the Linksys device is a switch or a hub, this configuration will not work
unless your ISP is providing you with 2 IP addresses. You could make this
work with a single IP by replacing the switch/hub with a router, or by
installing a second network adapter and enabling Internet Connection Sharing
(ICS).
