Dave

I have 3 computers. A, B, and C.

Computer A has a Cable modem with internet connection.
Computer B has a Cable moden with internet connection.

Computer C is a server.

Question: How can i connect all 3 computers to share
files, AND have Computer C connect to the internet using
Computer A's connection?

Other info: Computer A and B both have 2 NIC cards.
I have 1, 4 port HUB

I know im not thinking of something. Im extremely sorry
if this is basic stuff.

Why do you need 2 internet connections? If you use a 4-port router connected
to one of the cable modems, all 3 computers can be connected to that router.
Then you can just get rid of the other modem and save yourself a monthly
fee.

We have a 10gb cap on our monthly upload and download. So
we need 2 connections.

Hey Dave,

I'm assuming that one nic in both computer A and Computer B is connected to
a cable modem.
If not say so, you may be able take one of their NICs and put it in C.

If all computers need to talk to one another and get to the internet you'll
need to buy a NIC for computer C.

Each computer needs 1 nic connected into the hub.

For C to get to the internet, use the network wizard on A to set up internet
connection sharing with A as the computer that connects to the internet.

Use the wizard on C and set up a network connection with C on a local area
network.

To start the wizard, start/all programs/acessories/communications/network
setup wizard.
