I was notified of an answer, however the link was dead so I'm reposting in an
attempt to gain some insight to this problem

System 1
OS Windows XP Professional w/SP2 Compaq Presario Intel Pentium 4
2.4GHz 1GB RAM
IP 192.168.1.101
SUBNET MASK 255.255.255.0
4 Hub Linksys Router w/Cable Modem Attached WORKGROUP Workgroup HOST NAME
BASTARD NODE TYPE Hybrid IP Routing Enabled NO WINS Proxy Enabled NO Client
for MS Networks checked File and Printer Sharing for MS Networks checked
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) checked
(Also Symantec Network Security Intermediate File Driver, QoS Packet
Scheduls are checked)

System 2
OS Windows XP Home Edition SP2 HP Pavilion dv1000 Pentimum M 1.5GHz 1.28GB
IP 192.168.1.100 SUBNET MASK 255.255.255.0
4 Hub Linksys Router w/Cable Modem Attached (same one as SYS 1) WORKGROUP
Workgroup HOST NAME NEWLW NODE TYPE Unknown IP Routing Enabled Yes WINS Proxy
Enabled No Client for MS Networks checked File and Printer Sharing for MS
Networks checked Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) checked
(Also Symantec Network Security Intermediate File Driver, QoS Packet
Scheduls are checked)

I ran the Network Setup Wizard for both systems.
I have Sharing set for both systems to share files and allow changes.

I can ping SYS 2 from SYS 1
I cannot ping SYS 1 from SYS 2
I can see SYS 2 from SYS 1 and all Shared Files and Drives are Available I
Can See Local Network Files and Shares for SYS 1 on SYS 1 I Can See BOTH
systems on MY NETWORK PLACES I cannot access SYS 1 from SYS 2

On SYS 2 I also cannot share a printer connected to SYS 1

I can access the Internet through the Linksys from both SYS 1 and SYS 2

When troubleshooting connections, systems report everything is working
properly

WHAT CAN I LOOK FOR TO TRY AND FIX THIS ISSUE???

It could be a 3rd party software. For troubleshooting, you may try to start
the computer with clean boot.
