Unable to share files 2 ways

Please help me because I am seriously going crazy.

I have 2 computers : CompA & CompB.

- Both are running XP, SP2 ;
- Both are in a workgroup named MYHOME

CompA :

- 1 Netword Card,
- with Client for Microsoft Networks
- File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks
- QoS Pocket Scheduler
- Microsoft TCP/IP Version 6
- Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) ; with "Use the following IP Address : IP
Addresss :192.168.0.1 ; Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0 ; "Use the following DNS
server address :" <<<blank>>>>

CompB :

-2 Network Cards
CARD 1 :
- Client for Microsoft Networks
- File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks
- QOS Packet Scheduler
- Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) ; "Use the following IP Address : " 10.0.0.2 ;
" Subnet mask : 255.0.0.0 ; Default Gateway : 10.0.0.1 ; "Use the following
DNS server addresses :" Preferred DNS server : 207.69.188.185 ; Alternate DNS
Server : 207.69.188.186

CARD 2 :
- Client for Microsoft Networks
- File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks
- QOS Packet Scheduler
- Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) ; "Obtain an IP Address automatically" :
"Obtain DNS server automatically"

I have the 2 computers joined together by plugging their cards into a hub.
Both cards from CompB are plugged into the hub. I am able to see the shared
folders from CompA underneath the workgroup name when I am on CompB. I am
also able to access those folders while I am on CompB. However, I cannot
access or see any of the shared folders which are on CompB while I am on
CompA. As a matter of fact, nothing from CompB even shows up under the
workgroup name even while I am on CompB. It is almost like none of CompB's
folders are not shared.

I am able to go onto CompA and do a search for "CompB", and it will come
back with a find. However, when I try to click on that find I will get an
error which says :

"\\CompB is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource.

The network path was not found."

I'm at a total loss. I can't even get any of the shared folders from CompB
to show up under the workgroup in Explorer - even when I'm using CompB !

Any help would be very much appreciated ! Thank you in advance !!!

Bob,

Thank you very much for your response. I have used the troubleshooting
techniques which were in your links. However, there are so many possible
problems that I have decided to just start from scratch in setting up a new
network with CompB (the one with 2 NICs) being the computer constantly online
& CompA (1 NIC) functioning as my main front-end computer w/ access to
CompB's files & the internet through CompB as well.

Do you know of a good link which will walk me through the process of setting
up a network w/ one of the computers having 2 NICs - one dedicated to the
internet, and one dedicated to file sharing ? I would appreciate it so much.
