Links work in OWA but not Outlook 2007

We have a brand new computer running Windows XP Pro, SP2. We have Office
2007 Pro. We have daily internal HTML emails that are sent containing
file:// links in them from an Exchange 2007 Server. The links appear in the
email from all versions of Outlook except 2007. OWA shows them as well.
When the email is opened in Outlook 2007 the message bar reads HTML, but the
links are just plain text. Can someone please help?

Thanks,

Lewis.

So how exactly are these links created? Just typed or actually created as
links via Insert-> Hyperlink?

They are being created via an ASP web page using CDO.Message. I am using the
..HTMLBody property as well. As I said, this worked in all other versions of
Outlook.
