Links opening minimized

When I click on links that open up a new web page, they
are not opening up as a full page but rather as a tiny
bar that I then have to maximize. How can I get the
pages to open up full-size like they used to?

The tiny bar is a small window.
Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize)
Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the
size next time.
