Linking html presentations

Roy

I posted a Q earlier re: playing music over multiple slides. It
apparently won't work in a single presentation when there are multiple
pieces of music that are in a single presentation and the individual pieces
span several slides.

There can, however, be a piece of background music that spans the entire
presentation.

It dawned on me that it may be possible to create multiple presentations,
each one with its own background music (so it spans the entire
presentation), and to play the presentations sequentially.

Is it possible to more or less 'seemlessly' link several html ppt
presentations so that when one finishes, another is called? Is there a
master control file that would allow this? Thanks.

Seamless linking is not a problem. Here is a great tutorial which will take
you through it. http://www.awesomebackgrounds.com/powerpointlinking.htm It
will be just a matter of setting up the timings (which are not one of
PowerPoint's strong features) so that the links coincide with your music.
Another way is to combine all your music files (depending on the type) into
one file using a freeware program like Audacity and keep just the one
presentation.

Wow. You know about all resources, don't you!

I'll let you know my progress. (Actually, the way I have things set up,
timing of the slides may not actually be a problem. Linking them is my
biggest concern.)

Thanks,

Roy
