Link cannot open

I have Ultimate Vista on my lenovo computer laptop. I use window mail ad the
web adress links sent with my emails cannot open when i directlly click on
the web address in my email inbox or junk.

Error message is application ot found with red x in circle, I copy link and
enter it web browser works fine.

What is problem with my window mail? how do I fix it.

Control Panel > Default Programs > "Set your default programs" link > highlight
Windows Mail and Internet Explorer and make sure they have all their defaults
