limited virtual memory

Have tried to reset paging file, but still getting message
on boot-up. I've set the System and Administrator to full
access which was already correct. Upgraded from Windows
XP home edition to XP Professional, reinstalled service
pack 1, but still only open 1 program at a time.

Thank you..
 
256.....would that make that much difference? Also do you
know what all the svchost.exe are that are running?
