Licensing Issue

Hope this is the correct forum to post this.

Basically I have a NT4 Domain and within it I have a Windows 2000 Terminal
Server using Citrix Metaframe 1.8a.

All users us the same PC everyday to access citrix. However when I look in
license manager I see users using up to 4 windows cals. Why is this? I have
looked on other Citrix Farms I have in the Domain License manager (not
terminal Service licensing) and don't see users taking up more than one CAL.

Reason for the post is I seem to be get license issues which I think are
affecting my connections to the Citrix Farm.

Any Ideas

What licensing mode are you in? If you aren't in per seat
mode, then I would make a switch to it.

I'd imagine that your users are using one cal for terminal
services, one cal for having their computers be part of
the network, one cal for having access to file/printer
resources on the server, and one for...um...I don't know.

People have reported problems like this before a move to
per seat mode often solves the problem.
