Event ID 1004 - TermService

One out of 8 thin client devices is not able to connect to
a Windows 2000 Terminal server. The system event log on
the Terminal server shows Event ID 1004 - "The terminal
server cannot issue a client license". This shows up
everytime this specific client tries to login.

There is a lot of available CALS on our TS License server.

Our terminal server is Windows 2000 with SP4 and Citrix
Metaframe 1.8 for Windows 2000 with Citrix SP4 for W2K.
The thin client devise that we are using is NEOWARE with
Windows CE version 4.0 OS.

Sounds like your temp license is expired, remove temp license and connect to
TS, it should then issue you a permenant license if one is available.

By resetting the client to the factory defaults.
I would also recommend to search for firmware updates on the
vendors website, and check the following articles:
