lease denied by DHCP server

I am using cable modem, cable connected directly from my modem to my
computer, no routers. I am able to connected to all my programs except 1. In
my system information there is this error:
Dhcp The IP address lease 192.168.100.11 for the Network Card with network
address 0012C94BC0C9 has been
denied by the DHCP server 192.168.100.1 (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK
message).

..

Sometimes ( not always ) , when i switch the USB wires, i can connect to
that program again but after i switch off my computer and when i turn it back
on the next day, i will not be able to connect to the program again. Is there
anything I can do ? I've tried contacting the program support/ISP support,
they kept pushing the responsiblity to each other, i.e. ISP says the
problem's with the program network, program support says the problem's with
the ISP...

If I understand you correctly, The computer is connected to a cable modem
via a USB connector, not a physical ethernet lan card. the 192.168.xxx.xxx
address seems to show that the modem is acting as a router to the extent
that it provides the address to the PC. ISPs have a great deal of control
over how the modem operates.

Can you explain or be more specific concerning the "program" that has the
problem?

The ISP may be limiting or changing the allowed address block. The ISP may
be blocking specific ports, protocols, and/or services. On the other hand,
USB connections to cable modems depend on software that is not as trouble
free as the usual ethernet connection to the cable modem. Some cable modems
have an equivilent of a router built in, others don't.

When I first started using a cable modem, the local ISP wanted to charge a
fee for additional PCs connected to the cable modem via the additional port,
or thru an ethernet switch. The addition of a router between the cable
modem and any PCs made this extra charge go away. The modem only sees one
MAC address and TCP/IP address from the router. The MAC address is something
that the user can change if needed

well its a game called Lineage2 a MMORPG , been connecting to it fine for the
pass 1 year but recently this problem happened. There is only 1 PC using the
connection too. Is ethernet connection the 1 that looks like telephone line,
only bigger? I got 1 of that and 1 that ends with a USB connector directly.
