How can I tell if I have the latest version of IE with all the service packs
and updates? The About dialog box says:

Version: 6.0.2800.xpsp2.030422-1633
Update Versions:;SP!;Q810847;Q813951;Q818529;Q330994;Q822925;Q828750;Q824145

If you go MS updates and all is well then investigate.

Determining Which Version of Internet Explorer You Are Using
All versions of Internet Explorer 5 that are customized with Microsoft
Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) include one of the following
strings after the version number when you click About on the Help menu:
IC = Internet Content Provider
IS = Internet Service Provider
CO = Corporate Administrator

Hi Val,

The best way to maintain your IE with latest and greatest Service Pack is to
pay a visit to Windows Update site (Tools -> Windows Update) Looking at
About strings, it appears you have already done so in the past. When it
detects you have 0 critical update to install you can be sure your IE is
secured and up-to-date.
