Latest updates stop PS/2 mouse from working

Downloaded updates earlier today, 14/01/09, and now my PS/2 mouse does not
work, and I have to use a USB mouse. It appears that one of the updates
picked up was for an Ideacom HID Touchscreen - Why I do not know, as I do not
have a touchscreen at all - But the PS/2 mouse now seems to be logically
attached to the driver for this screen. I have uninstalled it and re-started
my machine (It re-installed itself), and I have disabled it and it has
disappeared, but I do not have use of the PS/2 keyboard port still. I do not
have System Restore in operation. Does anyone know how to get rid of the
Ideacom information?
