Latest update and internet problems

J

Jeff

Since I downloaded and installed the latest XP Home security updates , my
internet access seems to have become erratic with IE6. IE6 has had trouble
opening some URLs which opened with no problem in Mozilla. I do not
remember the update numbers but they are the latest, about 3 of them and
included updates for Outlook Express.

Could this be a problem with these updates or should I look elsewhere? How
does one roll-back updates and does that cause its own problems?

Thanks

Jeff, I'm up to date and have had no problems with the updates. Having
said that, my system is not your
system and so I would do a system restore to a date prior to the latest
updates.

Jeff, you can remove the updates using Add/Remove Programs in Control
Panel. If that changes things, then add them back one at a time to see
which one causes the problem.

Thanks.
