remembering URL login info

Jeff

On my IE6, when I enter a login info for a site a window pops up asking me
if I wish Windows to remember this login and password. I accidentally turned
it off. How does one turn it back on?

I need this info both for XP Home and also for W 98 using IE6.

Thanks.

Jeff, while in IE6 select Tools>Internet Options>Content>Under Personal
Info AutoComplete>Check all the boxes. Click on Ok Apply Ok.

Bring up IE. Select Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Select the box that says: Use inline AutoComplete

This only completes a logon (username) after you begin to type the logon or
username (hence autocomplete). Not sure this is what you are looking for or
not. This will auto complete you logons but not your passwords.
