How does the briefcase work and is it dependable for synchronizing Outlook
appointments?

1. Open XP's "Help and Support" program.
2. In the Search box type: BRIEFCASE , and hit enter.
3. Click on the tutorial titled: "Briefcase overview".

Thanks.

Does it work well or are there problems I should be aware of?

Also, I am confused as to

a) whether it just copies or actually synchronizes the data

b) If it synchronizes, does it do it in BOTH directions or just towards the
"main computer"?

c) in the case of Outlook's pst file, do I physically move it into the
briefcase, just copy it or put a shortcut to it in the briefcase?

d) does it matter on which PC I create the briefcase into which I put the
pst file?
