Last Known Good Configuration

Max 15

Can anyone help me restart with last know good
configuration........ Xp Home Edition...The help file
says click start step1
then click shut down step 2...thats when I immediately
get lost.......there is no tab saying shut down
 
Hi Max,

Is there a logoff option? If so, select it. You should then get either a
menu with shutdown as one of the options, or a dropdown box where you can
use shutdown. Which you get depends on your machine's configuration.
