Laptop Useless Now?

Hey, I was watching a Movie on my laptop when my Pc crashed. When I
restarted it and got to the log in window I clicked on my file and
typed my pass in. When It was loading my Prefences and stuff A Error
Came up saying .


Explorer.exe Not found

WININET.dll not able, Try re-downloading

But I can't Get Into My Profile TOO download it. What should I Do? Is
It possible to fix it? Or Do I need to take it into a Tech Store and
get it Re formated? I had alot of school work and useful information on
it I can't Get deleted...

- Restart the computer. As computer boots . continually press the F8 key
- On the 'Windows Advanced Options' menu, select 'Safe Mode' > Enter
- When asked, select Windows XP Home or Windows XP Pro > Enter
- On the 'To begin, click your user name screen', click 'Administrator'
- Type the administrator password (same as the user's logon password) >
ENTER
