How can I synchronise my mail box with the 2 , ??
I can not believe that there is no other solution than leaving at your
server or copying on dvd etc ?????

What type of email account?
Webmail can be accessed via browser from anywhere.
IMAP can be synched.
POP3 is not designed to be synched.

Hi Dave'
,
both my comps uses Vista and Windows mail
I have a crossovercable but cannot synchronise them , if possible both ways

wish you all the best

If you have POP3/SMTP you can set "Leave a copy of messages on server" in
Tools, Accounts, Properties, Advanced tab. You can then download messages
to both computers. You will then have to manually delete the messages from
the server after you have downloaded them to both computers. Unless you pay
close attention to what you are doing, this is a certain recipe for losing
messages. For sent messages there is no way to synchronized them using
POP3/SMTP short of as you say copying them from one computer to the other
manually.

As Dave says IMAP can be used for what you want, also Hotmail if you upgrade
to Windows Live Mail client or Outlook.

Crossover cable or not, you cannot sync POP accounts.

One solution would be to get a free Gmail IMAP account, and then set your
existing email to forward to that new account.
