Laptop crash

Hi,

When using the laptop, it will all of a sudden crash. Then cycling lines
will appear all over the screen. The only course of action is to then
restart the laptop. Any idea as to what is going on here?? I've never seen
anything like it!
 
Most likely a video card failing.
